What is the promoting organization?

The University of Tokyo Consortium for Renovating Education of the Future Promoting Organization is the controlling base for CoREF, which is a national organization of volunteers from universities who assemble to utilize the knowledge of universities at educational sites. The Network of Networks (NN) seeks to enhance the quality of education. It includes the University Consortium, which supports education in elementary, junior high, and high schools; the Academic Society Consortium, which consists mainly of academic societies that have the same goals; and the Business University Forum of Japan, which leads cooperation among industries and universities.

CoREF

CoREF actualizes new ideal education through cooperation with universities, academic societies, and industries that are involved in this movement for the purpose of “transferring new knowledge and educational methods born in universities to teachers of elementary, junior high, and high schools to enhance the quality of education overall.”

CoREF Promoting Organization

The Consortium for Renovating Education of the Future Promoting Organization was established by the University of Tokyo to support participating elementary, junior high, and high schools and to promote CoREF activities. This organization seeks to utilize the expertise of specialists while participating in practical activities to improve the quality of education by working with teachers at educational sites, with the cooperation of the boards of education.
